British stylist and TV personality, Louise Roe, has chosen Pronovias to design her dream wedding dress.
There are few things we enjoy more than an initial visit from a bride-to-be who excitedly explains who she envisions her wedding gown. In this case, we had the pleasure of meeting with Louise Roe during her visit to our Barcelona atelier where she met with our Creative Director, Hervé Moreau, to discuss her dress for her upcoming October wedding that will take place in England.
After announcing her engagement last January, Louise came to our April ‘Le Ciel’ fashion show as a special guest. “I went with my mum to Barcelona… Not only was it the Pronovias bridal runway show that weekend (epic!) but it was also my first meeting with Hervé, the design genius behind Atelier Pronovias. He took away my nerves by telling me he’d make the dress of my dreams, no matter what!” shares the TV personality for an exclusive interview with Martha Stewart Weddings.
As life is full of coincidences, Ms. Roe also shared in the interview: “Way, way back, I began my career as an intern at a wedding magazine. I can remember drooling over the stunning, hand-crafted gowns by this brand: the attention to detail and how varied each look was amazed me. Cut forward a decade and I’m trying one on at their atelier, in Barcelona!”

“I chose the Vanila dress from the Atelier Pronovias 2016 Collection because it perfectly represented what I wanted for my wedding: elegance and simplicity, while still letting me feel sexy.” – Eli, the bride.

Eli and Alberto got married on July 1st in the marvellous Bell Recó estate located just outside of Barcelona. The romantic setting was the perfect backdrop for the celebration of their fairytale romance, which after three years of dating culminated in their saying “I do” in front of all of their family and friends. Today we remember the wedding with the beautiful pictures Keisy & Rocky took.

Elena is a very summery dress with lace detailing
The summer is one of the best times to get married for a wide variety of reasons, including enjoying the long evenings, ceremonies that end at sunset, and al fresco receptions that nearly last until sunrise. There are however, common concerns such as how to combat the heat, which designs are most appropriate for the summer season, etc. For many brides-to-be, certain doubts may arise when it comes time to choose the gown, so from Pronovias we’d like to help by providing a few suggestions that will facilitate your decision making process. In order to do just that, we recently visited the very heart of Pronovias, our Barcelona atelier, where designs that begin in simple sketches finish in actual dream dresses.
“Our number one wedding wish was that everyone would have a great time celebrating with us. That wish definitely came true.” – real bride, Marianne.
Set in a stunning setting upon the lake in Westport, Ontario, Canada, Marianne married the love of her life, Ryan on August 29th, 2015. Surrounded by their loved ones, the couple’s happy day was made complete with the bride’s perfect dress, their daughter as the flower girl for the ceremony, and a “foodie” reception at The Cove Inn.
