2 Styles, 1 wedding: Boho & Rock

By Paula Ordovás, Lovehunter.

Many times we go mad looking for the perfect style for a wedding or a special event. Sometimes we just have to play with the ins and dare to mix colors and styles. Today we have two long gowns, with the most flattering colors to match the summer tan: Raina, in lemon yellow, and Rafaella, in deep klein blue. With them I suggest two very different styles but both with accesories from my favorite stores; Muïc jewelry and Jimmy Choo shoes.

A romantic dress asks for some boho accessories. The Raina style is absolutely a fairy tale dress. Would certainly lead to a deep soft hair that combine perfectly with this green, pink and white bohochic wreath. For the feet, sandals nude Lance, from Jimmy Choo, and coral-colored nail collection Summer Mix, from Dior, who take combined with those of the hands accompanied by a ring Muïc semiprecious stones. Blush the cheeks with Dior cream blush and lipgloss. A very natural and flattering makeup subtly marking the line of the eyes. The final touch will be the pink clutch Bottega Veneta.

This is a rock outfit with a blend of sophistication: Rafaella dress, intense color full of rhinestones, combined with neon supplements. The mixture of blue and electric yellow is really stunning. For the lips, YSL Rouge Volupté Shine and lashes by Baby Doll mask, my essential every day (never missing in my makeup kit). Let the hair up, and all the attention will come to the accessories.

I guess we choose our style, from rocker or romantic, depending on our mood, but I’m sure these two attitudes are within each of us. And you, how are you feeling today?

Day Wedding: Country chic & Vintage

By Marieta Fernández, Lovehunter.

In weddings seasons we appreciate brides with such beautiful dresses that seem like artwork. And although different strokes for different folks, it is important to know that not all dresses ar not suitable for all environments. We have to take care of every little detail that will be used for decoration that does not clash at all. So we’ve made a selection with two beautiful Pronovias styles, suggesting the ideal location to get the perfect set.

Country Chic

We begin by presenting the Lali style, a draped wedding dress in gauze. V-neck with straps and semi-sheer back in tulle with pearl embroidery. Flared skirt gathered at the side.. It is a very elegant dress, simple and timeless, suitable for any environment because depending on the shoe, the bouquet or the hairstyle we can adapt it. I recommend a Country Chic decor, in an outdoor atmosphere where the intermixing of the modern dress along with country or rustic elements such as straw bales, cushions, fabrics …

We can combine this dress with a simple hairstyle, maybe loose hair with some informal waves and collected with a small brooch. And add a wild or paniculata bouquet, as simple as the dress, but with a twist of sophistication.

I love romanticism at weddings, and now that is so booming everything about the vintage, what better than join these two trends together and make a wonderful wedding? We can add the dress style Licia, a garza silk and tulle fantasy wedding dress. Strapless bodice with garza silk bias work. Grosgrain belt with silver and white gemstone appliqués. Skirt with garza silk flowers. All this majesty gives way to a bride full of love and beauty, I could get married in a cathedral and celebrate the party in a castle. I think offering unique pieces give prominence to a very elegant vintage decor, and add a touch of personality to an ideal wedding.

For this dress where the skirt plays the major role, a discreet and delicate bouquet would be just right. Perhaps pastel peonies would highlight better that halo of reverie. Jimmy Choo or Valentino shoes would conclude the perfect look, along with a simple gathered hair.

Which outdoor wedding style do you like the most? Country Chic or Vintage?

Little black dress

By Juliet Polilova, Lovehunter.

They say that “a black dress is not going to go out of style” and I would totally agree with it. Playing with accessories you can never go wrong choosing your outfit for any event. To prove that in today’s post we have two amazing cocktail black dresses: the first is the Raim dress that is more formal and the other one is the Runna dress with sequined skirt which makes it look more in “party style”.

The Raim dress with strong asymmetric silhouette, peplum and accent on a shoulder has the power to define a woman’s whole look and requires a classical company.

So laying stress on this absolutely fabulous dress I would pair it with Saint Laurent clutch in natural colors, Jennifer Meyer circle studs with rubies, violet Charlotte Olympia platform pumps and the matchy lipstick from Tom Ford. Such classy outfit would be perfect for formal occasions but still make you look very elegant.

Now it’s time to have a little party with stunning Runna dress that is decorated with sheer top and sequins and have enough length for your imagination.

Following summer trends this dress can be combined with yellow Shourouk plastic clutch, Nicole Romano earrings composed of light and dark, lemon and hematite marquis crystals. To support this fresh ensemble you can add manicure in sunny yellow shades. Perspex pumps with black patent leather heel and toe from Gianvito Rossi to my mind would finish this look perfectly. I can see myself dancing in this outfit during all night! ;)

Of course choosing between these two looks you will rely on the format of the event you are going to attend to, but which one would you wear?
