Today I’m offering you an inspiration of brides with their hair down and lots of beautiful pictures, easy to copy, so that you can try them at home or at your hair salon and think about this option; “Wearing your hair loose in the wind”!
I always say that a bride has to be real, and must be comfortable. If you have never put your hair up, you may be risking it on your wedding day if you decide to have a very elaborate hairstyle.
You might be thinking that this is a bit boring, but it isn’t! The elegance will be the volume, and the style and shine they give to your hair will give the fantastic result.
Tiaras, slides, crowns, headbands, headdresses; all very fashionable among brides. But if your wedding is informal, natural hair, loose and without accessories will be your best ally. One of my favourite hairstyles for a strapless wedding dress is loose long hair, with well styled waves, and subtly swept to one side. This will give you a soft look, but sexy at the same time.
I am thinking about another two styles; loose lightly styled hair, with natural waves, or long hair with soft waves, perfectly styled and curled. They are two options for two completely different brides. The first for a daring, very outgoing bride who is having a wedding on the beach, with friends, something informal. And the second option for a serene, mature, elegant and sophisticated bride, but very stylish and very sure of herself.
Don’t forget, your hairstyle is one of the accessories of your wedding dress. It is part of your signature, of your identity. You have to be confident and stand tall.
Have a good day!

The style of 1920’s including the way of dressing, accessories and jewelry still has the influence on fashion trends today as it gained a big popularity again after the amazing outfits of main characters of the “Great Gatsby” movie that we all saw last year. Personally I can’t find more elegant and feminine style for a woman and hope you will agree with me on that when you will see these gorgeous dresses from Pronovias cocktail collection! So let me introduce you two outfit ideas in the style of 20’s!
When I hear “Golden Age Twenties” I imagine a lot of glints, pearls, feathers and fringes, smoky eyes and dark wine lips. The Tabanis nude short dress decorated with beads and embroidery looks like it just came from the cabaret wardrobe! And I’m pretty sure that the company of open toe gold heels with tiny belts (like metallic ones by Givenchy) and a box clutch (like perfume bottle clutch by Chanel) will emphasize the lush of this look. To give final touches to the outfit I would add some hair accessories like the crystal decorated headband from Jennifer Behr and finish it with the neutral make up.
Another interpretation of the style of 20’s is a look of a movie star wearing full length dress with tulle décor at the bottom and open chest completed with the sensual evening make up and lips in deep burgundy or plum colors. The Taselli dress as if it was a weightless cloud of sorcery holds a fascination for everyone around you. Perfect shoes like Casadei classic pumps, shiny jewels like Lucia Odescalchi long fringe earrings and small bag like Lanvin clutch would underline your enchantment.
Whatever you choose I believe that these two absolutely charming dresses can make you feel like a real glam queen at any event! Which one is your favorite?
The new collection is here, with unique designs to wear on really special occasions.
2015 Cocktail Preview collection is here. Featuring new designs in sumptuous fabrics and an enormous choice of styles in a gorgeous colour palette including a range of short dresses.
Intense colors for a stylish colecction. Daring but elegant made in sheer gauze, in lace and delicated type of embroidery following the latest fashion trends.
The new Preview collection by Pronovias Cocktail has dresses suitable for all types of celebrations and events.
Short dresses: This season, the focus is on short dresses with exquisite gemstone embroidery, transforming some of these designs into real pieces of jewellery. The height of stylish elegance!
Painstaking attention to details: New, superb quality textiles and intricate embroidery make some of these gowns worthy of the red carpet. They are the ideal choice for women who adore attention to detail; beading, spangles and other more delicate types of embroidery are among the sophisticated techniques used in this collection.
Choice of fabrics: Designers have used Mikado silk, a popular fabric in the bridal world, to bring extra shine and radiance to long gowns. For flowing dresses, they have worked with gauze, crepe and tulle to create soft, delicate effects, full of movement and brimming with style.
Seductive backs: The backs of some of these dresses are wonderfully bold, however the trend for one-shoulder and wrap-over necklines is still strong, with plenty of emphasis on the waist.
